It alludes to His job as the pioneer and directing power of our lives, Ill. Psa. 37:23; Rom. 8:28. Ø Mighty God - This word signifies "Legend"! It alludes to one Who is "solid, strong and powerful." He alone is qualified to be our Hero for He has crushed every one of our foes - Death - 1 Cor. 15:55; Sin - Rom. 6:14; Satan - Gen. 3:15; The Grave - Matt. 28:1-6; 1 Cor. 15:20; Eternity (Hell) - John 10:28. Ø Everlasting Father - (Ill. He is "never-ending"! He is the incomparable "I'm"! your life is attached to His and you will live just however long He does!) He is our "Father". This word signifies "Maker or generator." He is our "source"! He created us and He supports our lives by His power. He satisfies His job as our Father by: Loving us - Jer. 31:3; Rom. 8:38-39; Supporting us - Psalm 18:35; Deut 33:27; Sustaining us - 2 Tim. 1:12; Comforting us - John 14:16-18; Providing for us - Luke 12:32; Matt. 6:25-33; Phil. 4:19. Ø Prince of Peace - He will govern His realm in harmony. Sick. "government" and stanza 7. How might He do this? He is the maker and supplier of harmony. Furthermore, the individuals who realize Him have a lot of familiarity with harmony, John 14:27; John 16:33a; Phil. 4:7. Conc: What Child is this? We call Him by many names, (Ill. Some!)
